12. Removal from service

Should the product be taken out of service (e.g. for cleaning, maintenance or storage for winter), then proceed as
follows:
• Pull the power plug from the mains socket.
• Take the product out of the water.
Never lift or carry the product using the power cord! Otherwise the power cord may get damaged. Risk of
an electric shock!
• If a hose is connected to the inlet and/or outlet port, disconnect it.
• Hold the product slantwise and let the residual water drain.
• Let the product and the power cord dry.
• During winter, keep the product in a dry space protected against frost, ideally in the original packaging.
Also do not forget to empty the hoses laid outdoor to avoid frost damages; open water taps if available.
• A small quantity of water remains in the product after use or after the draining. Therefore, when storing or transport-
ing the product in a vehicle, use an appropriate mat.

13. Troubleshooting

Fault
Product does not work.
Product does not pump any water.
Insufficient pumping capacity.
Product switches off after a short
time.
The motor has over-heated.

Cause
No power.
Filter cage is blocked.
Impeller is blocked.
Filter cage is blocked.
Excessive loss in the lines.
Dirt deposits on the impeller.
Water is heavily polluted.
Water temperature is too high.
Solution
Check the power supply.
Disconnect plug from mains socket.
Wait 10 seconds and connect to
mains socket again.
Clean the filter cage.
Clean the impeller.
Clean the filter cage.
Reduce hose length.
Do not use any unnecessary con-
nection components.
Clean the impeller.
Clean the product and let it cool.
Clean heavy particles manually.
The water temperature may not
exceed +35 °C.
