1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Die Schwarzweißkamera TVCCD-120R ist speziell für
den Einsatz in Video-Überwachungsanlagen kon-
zipiert und läßt sich dank ihrer äußerst geringen
Abmessungen auch optimal als Türspion, KFZ-Ein-
parkhilfe oder versteckte Überwachungskamera ver-
wenden. Die Bilddarstellung auf dem Monitor kann
wahlweise spiegelverkehrt erfolgen, was besonders
hilfreich beim Einsatz als KFZ-Einparkhilfe ist. Die
Kamera besitzt ein spritzwassergeschütztes Gehäuse
und ist dadurch auch im Außenbereich einsetzbar.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Die Kamera entspricht der EU-Richtlinie für elektro-
magnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG.
Schützen Sie die Kamera vor Hitze und großer Kälte
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0–40 °C).
Das Kameragehäuse ist spritzwassergeschützt, je-
doch nicht absolut wasserdicht. Tauchen Sie darum
die Kamera nicht in Wasser ein.
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung der Kamera keine
scharfen Reinigungsmittel oder Chemikalien.
Wird die Kamera zweckentfremdet, falsch ange-
schlossen oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann für
eventuelle Schäden keine Haftung übernommen
werden.
Soll die Kamera endgültig aus dem Betrieb genom-
men werden, übergeben Sie sie zur Entsorgung
einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

1 Applications
The black and white camera TVCCD-120R has es-
pecially been designed for the use in video monitoring
systems. Due to its extremely small dimensions it can
be used as a door spy, car parking aid or concealed
monitoring camera in an optimum way. The picture
reproduction on the monitor can alternatively be made
in a mirror-inverted way. This is especially helpful for
the use as car parking aid. The camera has a splash-
proof housing and is therefore also suitable for outside
applications.
2 Safety Notes
The camera corresponds to the EU directive for elec-
tromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
Protect the camera against very hot and cold tem-
peratures (admissible ambient temperature range
0–40 °C).
The camera housing is splash-proof, but not com-
pletely waterproof. Therefore, do not immerse the
camera in water.
Do not use strong detergents or chemicals for clean-
ing the camera.
If the camera is used for purposes other than orig-
inally intended, if it is not connected properly or if it is
not repaired by authorized, skilled personnel, there is
no liability for possible damage.
If the camera is to be put out of operation definitively,
bring it to a local recycling plant for disposal.

3 Montage der Kamera
Für die Montage liegen der Kamera Befestigungshal-
ter inkl. Montageschrauben bei.
a Montage auf waagerechter Fläche:
Den abgewinkelten Kamerahalter mit den vier Blech-
schrauben an der gewünschten Stelle befestigen.
Den Montagebügel um die Kamera legen und mit der
M3-Schraube am Kamerahalter festschrauben.
b Montage an senkrechter Fläche:
Den geraden Kamerahalter mit den zwei Blech-
schrauben an gewünschter Stelle montieren. Mit
der M3-Schraube die Kamera über die M3-Gewin-
debuchse (siehe Abb.) am Kamerahalter fest-
schrauben.
4 Anschluß der Kamera
4.1 Stromversorgung
Den dickeren schwarzen Anschlußdraht (Masse) und
den roten Anschlußdraht (+12 V) der Kamera mit
einem elektronisch stabilisierten 12-V-Netzgerät (z. B.
PS-12CCD oder PS-128A von MONACOR) verbinden.
Dabei auf die richtige Polung achten (siehe Abb.). Die
Stromaufnahme beträgt ca. 110 mA.
4.2 Videoausgang mit 75-Ω-Kabel
Zur Übertragung des Videosignals ein 75-Ω-Koaxial-
kabel an die Kamera anschließen: Die Kabelseele mit
dem weißen Anschlußdraht (Videoausgang) verbinden
und die Kabelabschirmung mit dem dickeren schwar-
zen Anschlußdraht (Masse). Das Koaxialkabel mit
einem Monitor verbinden. Dabei auf korrekten
75-Ω-Abschluß am Monitor bzw. bei Serienschaltung
am letzten Monitor achten.
3 Mounting of the camera
The camera is supplied with mounting brackets includ-
ing screws for the mounting.
a Mounting on horizontal surface:
Mount the angled camera bracket with four sheet
metal screws at the desired place. Place the moun-
ting bracket around the camera and screw it with the
M3 screw at the camera bracket.
b Mounting at vertical surface:
Mount the straight camera bracket with two sheet
metal screws at the desired place. Screw the
camera with the M3 screw via the M3 thread (see
fig.) at the camera bracket.
4 Connection of the Camera
4.1 Power supply
Connect the thicker black wire (ground) and the red
wire (+12 V) of the camera to an electronically regula-
ted 12 V power supply unit (e. g. PS-12CCD or PS-
128A by MONACOR). Observe the correct polarity
(see fig.). The current consumption is approx. 110 mA.
4.2 Video output with 75 Ω cable
To transmit the video signal, connect a 75 Ω coaxial
cable to the camera: connect the core of the cable with
the white wire (video output) and the cable shield with
the thicker black wire (ground). Connect the coaxial
cable with a monitor. Observe the correct 75 Ω termi-
nation at the monitor resp. with series connection at
the last monitor.

4.3 Umschaltung spiegelverkehrte / seitenrichtige
Bilddarstellung
Ist der dünnere schwarze Anschlußdraht nicht ange-
schlossen, ergibt sich eine spiegelverkehrte Bilddar-
stellung. Zur seitenrichtigen Darstellung diesen Draht
an Masse legen.
5 Inbetriebnahme
Nach dem Videoanschluß und dem Anlegen der 12-V-
Versorgungsspannung ist die Kamera betriebsbereit.
Wird das zu überwachende Objekt nicht scharf
abgebildet, das Auflagemaß korrigieren. Dazu die
Schutzkappe der Kamera abschrauben. Die kleine
Schraube am Objektivhalter lösen. Das Objektiv vor-
sichtig so weit drehen, bis das Bild scharf ist. An-
schließend die Schraube wieder festziehen, und die
Schutzkappe aufsetzen.

4.3 Switching of mirror-inverted / standard picture
presentation
If the thinner black wire is not connected, a mirror-
inverted picture is reproduced. For a standard repro-
duction connect this wire to ground.
5 Setting into Operation
After establishing the video connection and applying
the 12 V supply voltage the camera is ready for oper-
ation.
If the object to be monitored is not clearly repro-
duced, correct the mechanical focus setting. Screw off
the protection cap of the camera. Loosen the small
screw at the lens bracket. Carefully turn the lens so far
until the picture is clear. Then tighten the screw and
the protection cap again.
