There are no time constraints for the diagnostic phase: the signals on the LEDs and/or the horn remain active
for 10 minutes from the last variation, are then deactivated and remain in this condition until any input changes
status.
WARNING! Only during the diagnostic phase is it possible to change the configuration by means of dip-
switches.

3.2 PRE-ACTIVATION TIME

When all inputs are closed (alarm input, internal microswitch and anti-foam protection), the siren switches to pre-
activation phase. During this 30-second phase, the siren LEDs flash and the horn emits tones. As the 30-second
period approaches, the LEDs will flash faster for 3 seconds and the horn will emit a long tone indicating that the
siren is in operating condition.
WARNING! The siren only becomes operational if the internal tamper contacts (and anti-foam protection,
if present) are at rest, if there are no abnormalities with respect to the set selections and if the alarm input
ALL is at rest. If the ALL input is activated (or unbalanced), the siren sounds and the high-intensity alarm
flashes after the end of the pre-activation time.
The pre-activation time can be interrupted at any time by simply opening the siren cover or unbalancing
the alarm input. The siren will then return to diagnostic mode (see previous paragraph).

3.3 SYSTEM STATUS VARIATION SIGNALLING

The HPA800 siren displays the switching on and off of the system by means of the four central LEDs. It is also
possible to enable the on/off acoustic signal via the DIP B3.
4 central LEDs
(high brightness)
3 fast blinks
1 long flash
If you do not want the siren to display the system variation on and off, simply do not connect terminal
TC to the alarm control panel.
To enable the system on/off tone, the DIP B3 must be set to OFF
If the ON/OFF signals are enabled and the system is switched off or on during an alarm cycle, the on
(OFF>ON) and off (ON>OFF) notifications are presented at the end of the alarm cycle. If the switch-on
(OFF>ON) coincides with the activation of the ALL input, this will not be notified.
Horn
(low volume)
3 short tones
1 long tone
