Moving the Option Key
Moving the Option Key
You can move the option key from one supported
device to another.
First, perform the following to remove the option
key from the supported device on which the
option key is currently installed and move it to the
SxS memory card.
Next, perform the procedure described in
"Installing the Option Key" to install the option
key on a different supported device.
Note
Be sure to move the option key to this SxS memory card.
The operation of the option key is not guaranteed if it has
been moved to an optional card.

Insert the SxS memory card into the
supported device.
For the XDS-P2000: Insert the SxS memory
card into slot A.
Note
The SxS memory card cannot be used in slot B.
For the PDW-HD1550: Connect an
SBAC-US20 to the USB port on the
front panel, and insert the SxS memory
card into the SBAC-US20.

Display the maintenance menu and
select maintenance menu item
M23:OPTION KEY under M2:
SERVICE SUPPORT. (See step 2 in
"Installing the Option Key.")

Select "REMOVE."
