Sunshine effect spotlight

Intended Use
The product is intended for illuminating indoor areas; it may only be installed and used in dry,
enclosed indoor rooms.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the risk
of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. The whole product must not be modified or converted!
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
This product complies with the applicable national and European requirements. All names of com-

Explanation of Symbols, Inscriptions
The lightning symbol inside a triangle is a warning to inform you of potential risks of
personal injury, such as electrical shock.
This symbol indicates specific risks associated with handling, function and use.
The "arrow" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
The product is only intended to be installed and used in dry, indoor spaces; it must not
get damp or wet.
The product is designed according to Protection Class II (reinforced or double insula-
tion between the mains supply circuit and output voltage; protective insulation)

D amages due to failure to follow these operating instructions will void the warranty!
We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage.
W e do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by improper
use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. In such cases, the warranty/guar-
antee will be null and void.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not permitted for
safety and approval reasons (CE). Never dismantle the product.
• This product is not a toy. Devices operated using mains voltages should not be used
by children. Therefore, be especially careful when children are around.
Use the product where it is out of reach of children. The same applies to storage.
• The product is only intended for use in dry, enclosed spaces, it must not get damp or
wet.
• The product must not be installed and used in areas at risk of flooding.
• The design of the product complies with the safety class II.
• The mains socket into which the mains plug is plugged must be easily accessible.
• Do not pull the power plug from the mains socket by pulling on the cable.
• Caution, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into the beam
directly or with optical instruments!
• Do not use this product in rooms that are under adverse environmental conditions,
where combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a risk of
explosion!
• If the power cord is damaged, do not touch it; electric shock carries a risk of danger
to life!
First, turn off the mains voltage to all poles of the mains socket to which the prod-
uct is connected (e.g. switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the
safety fuse, then turn off at the ELCB).
Then you can remove the mains plug from the mains socket. Discontinue use of
the product, take it to a specialised workshop or dispose of in an environmentally
friendly manner.
• Any maintenance or repair work may only be performed by an expert.
• Never use the product immediately after moving it from a cold room into a warm
one. The condensation that forms might damage the product under certain circum-
stances. Furthermore, this could cause a lethal electric shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature, before connecting it to the power
supply and putting it into use. This may take several hours.
• Avoid the following adverse conditions at the installation location and during trans-
port:
- Dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibrations, impact or blows
- Strong magnetic fields such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or loud-
speakers
• Disconnect the power supply from the power socket if the product will not be used
for a while (e.g. storage).
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cable is neither kinked nor pinched.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
falls, even from a low height.
• If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be
turned off and precautions must be taken to ensure that it is not used unintentionally.
After this, arrange for an expert to check the product.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device no longer works
- the device has been stored under adverse conditions for a long time
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please contact our
technical service or other specialist.
Installation
The effect spotlight can be hung up via the two openings at the bottom side using two screws,
hooks or nails. Two screws are included in the delivery.
Depending on the kind of wall, other screws and plugs may be required.
Attach the effect spotlight in such a way that it will not fall down. Route the power cord in such a
way, that it may not get damaged and that no one will to stumble over it.
Getting started
Connect the power plug to a standard power socket. The effect spotlight is ready, when the LEDs
start an automatic colour change with different lighting programs/effects.
When the sound gets louder, the current lighting program shifts to another one (for this purpose, a
microphone is integrated into the effect spotlight).
In order to turn the effect spotlight off, unplug the power plug from the power outlet.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The product is maintenance-free. Repair or maintenance work must be carried out by a specialist.
The LED bulbs used are permanently installed; they cannot be replaced.
You can use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Dust can be very easily removed with a soft, clean
brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use aggressive, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, as this may lead to discolouration or
changes in the surface material.
Disposal
The product must not be disposed of in the household waste.
Dispose of the product at the end of its serviceable life in accordance with the current
statutory requirements; e.g., return it to any suitable collection point.
