Operation

7.1 Operation mode
• Display mode
• Simulation mode
- The measurement is interrupted.
- The simulation is started.
1. Press the keys "up" and "down" simultaneously.
2. Select the mode.

The behaviour of the simulation mode is defined in the simulation param-
eterisation "Simulation - setting parameters".
Exit the parameterisation level.
- If the simulation was activated in the parameterisation level, the product
automatically changes to the simulation mode (an "S" flashes in the dis-
play). The currently applied scaling value is accepted as the simulation
start value.
Hold down the "up" and "down" keys (= quick access) until switching from
normal operation to simulation mode or vice versa has been performed.
- The simulation always takes place in the scaling display.
- It is not possible to scroll the operation display the status display in sim-
ulation mode.
With the "up" and "down" keys the simulation value is modified by the pre-
set delta.
Press one of the "up" or "down" buttons for a long period of time. A ramp
function starts (automatic signal reversal at the simulation range limits).
- Terminate the ramp function by briefly pressing one of the "up" or
"down" buttons.
• Parameterisation mode
- Hold down the "set" key until the display changes from display mode to
parameterisation mode.

The simulation is terminated after 3 minutes
