The V-tail is ready to be plugged into the fuselage.
However, the linkage still has to be fitted accura-
tely.
ARF
Drill a 2mm hole in the rudder surface of the tail-
plane halves with extreme caution and a distance
of 33mm from the root rib.
ARF
For this purpose the rudder blade is brought into a
large deflection angle. ATTENTION: drill by hand! Do
not damage the surfaces of the rudder.

Now grind the two angled linkages a little bit flat to
avoid damaging the surface in the rudder.

Glue the two linkages into the two rudders with
10-minute epoxy. They should now stick out about
12mm at a 90° angle. The ball head points in each
case upward!

Also make sure that the linkage wire is as far as
possible at the pivot point of the rudder!

The fixing of the tail unit halves is only done with
transp. tape on the bottom side.
