BOTTOM OVERVIEW

The following is an overview of the bottom of the notebook.
Rating Label
Bluetooth
Compartment
Lithium Ion
Battery Bay
Fan Outlets
These are open ports for the fan to dissipate heat from the computer's internal components. Do
not block or place the computer in such a position that you inadvertently allow the outlets to
become blocked.
Rating Label
The rating label shows the model number and other information about your notebook.
Wireless LAN Compartment
The Wireless LAN compartment contains the Wireless LAN card.
Memory Compartment
The memory compartment contains the computer's memory modules.
Bluetooth Compartment
The Bluetooth compartment contains the Bluetooth card. Bluetooth is a short-range wireless
broadcast standard. It is especially useful for synchronizing data between your computer and
other portable digital devices, such as cell phones and PDAs. Two Bluetooth enabled computers
can also exchange data directly with one another.
Lithium Ion Battery Bay
The battery bay contains the internal Lithium Ion battery. It can be opened for the removal of the
battery when stored over a long period of time or for swapping a discharged battery with a
charged Lithium Ion battery.
Hard Disk Drive Bay
The internal hard disk drive is accessible through the hard disk drive bay.
