Confi guration using the Z21 maintenance tool
Note: only possible via the CAN-BUS and with at least maintenance version 1.12 and Z21
fi rmware 1.30.
Connect the Z21 detector to the Z21 via the CAN-BUS and provide the track inputs P and N on the Z21

detector with the track voltage from the control centre.
The Z21 detector is confi gured in the "Z21 Maintenance Tool" software as follows:
After you have connected the Z21 detector correctly and have clicked on the "Status anfordern" (Request
status) button on the CAN tab, an own panel is inserted for each of the detected CAN modules. The NetID
is a unique identifi er of the CAN module
You can now see which track sections are occupied, in addition to the locomotive address and the rerail
direction. (Note: only works with locomotives that are RailCom

-compatible).
