For Radio Charging:
3. Insert a radio with battery (radio turned off) into the
charger pocket and press down firmly until the
connector on the bottom of the radio is mated to the
connector on the charger. You will feel a slight snap
when connection is made. Once the radio is properly
engaged, the pocket LED illuminates. After 15 seconds,
the LED will indicate that charging has started. To
remove the radio after charging, hold down on the
charger base and lift the radio straight up out of the
pocket. The connector will automatically release.
Note: To ensure the radio is properly charged, make
sure the radio is inserted into the plug by firmly
pushing down the radio into the base.
General Limitations:
• Radio will not start in Charge Mode (no
charging) if the radio is OFF and battery voltage
is above 4.1 V
• Radio will not start in Charge Mode (but trickle
charging will run in the background) if the radio
is OFF and battery voltage is below 3.4 V
