How the thermostat works

The TR2 thermostat measures the current ambient temperature and automatically
switches the connected appliance on or off at specific temperatures.
You can set the desired temperature and switching accuracy in the display. The thermo-
stat will then automatically control the connected appliance's switching times according
to the temperature measured by its sensor.
Example:
When water temperature drops below 24°C, the aquarium heater activates automatically,
heating the water to the temperature set. The thermostat then switches the aquarium
heater off again.
The thermostat can generally be used anywhere where you wish to stay in control of the
temperature.

The thermostat is suitable for application anywhere where the temperature needs to be
adjusted by a heater or chiller. The thermostat can be used by itself, for example as a tem-
perature watchdog to alert you to frost, or even as a substitute for broken mechanical
thermostats or faulty digital thermometers.
