Bassmanagement within the subwoofer
For this, the input jacks of the subwoofer must be connected with the outputs of the AV receiver by means of loud-
speaker cables. The corresponding loudspeakers (centre and front) should then be set at LARGE on the menu of the
AV receiver. Select SUBWOOFER YES from the menu of the AV amplifier and connect the input jacks LINE LEVEL IN
at the subwoofer with SUB OUT at the AV receiver.
This way, you avoid the bass management of the front channels of the AV receiver and obtain a harmonic sound im-
age of the bass area.
The connection of the subwoofer to the main speakers in parallel doesn't additionally load the amplifier, as
the input circuit of the subwoofer only uses the voltage information of the signal and doesn't take any power
out of it.
