• VII. STANDARDS
Only filterclass 0 lenses are suitable for use in conditions of darkness or
poor visibility. You will find the filter class on the midtop of the lens. The
purpose of the motorsport goggles is to protect you from wind, dust,
humidity and harmful rays of the sun. Moreover, these goggles are not
suitable for protec-tion against artificial light. They are not intended for
use as paintball- or safety goggles. This goggles is not suitable for snow-
mobile usage. SCOTT assumes no liability in this regard.
Protective goggles for all motorbike and moped activities with the excep-
tion of formal races and competitions.
Accessories, such as nose guard, tear-off films or work lenses can be
obtained from specialist retailers.
NB : Only use original accessories, as only they will ensure an exact fit and safety.
Please keep this instruction brochure in a safe place.

When used properly, it is assured that :
1- No injuries will be caused by sharp edges or protruding elements on
the goggles.
2- The eyes will be protected against harmful UV rays.
3- The motorsport goggles – presuming correct selection of size and cor-
rect fitting of the adjustable head strap – will protect against draughts
(airflow), dust, gravel and humidity.
4- Sufficient air circulation is guaranteed through the foam-covered opening.
5- The lens is optically accurate.
6- The lenses meet impact-resistance standards and withstand a blow of
60 m /s with a Ø 6 m m steel ball.

masks, works film systems, tear-offs and replacement lenses... We rec-
ommend to use only SCOTT products. Please refer to the dedicated leaf-
lets for installation and use of the accessories. SCOTT Sports SA will not
assume liability for any damages caused by use of non-SCOTT accessories.
