Bitte lesen Sie die vorliegende Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig durch. Bei
Fragen wenden Sie sich an Ihren Arzt oder Fachhandel von dem Sie dieses
Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
Zweckbestimmung
Bei diesem Medizinprodukt handelt es sich um einen Hüftprotektor zur
Reduzierung der einwirkenden Kräfte/Stoßabsorbierung am Oberschenkelhals
im Falle eines Sturzes.
Indikationen
Sturzneigung unterschiedlicher Genese
Kontraindikationen
Lymphabflussstörungen auch unklare Weichteilschwellungen körperfern
des angelegten Hilfsmittels, Empfindungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen der
versorgten Körperregion, Erkrankungen der Haut im versorgten Körperabschnitt
Anwendungsrisiken / Wichtige Hinweise
Die Auswahl der geeigneten Größe und eine Einweisung erfolgt durch das
Fachpersonal, von dem Sie das Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
– Medizinprodukt vor radiologischen Untersuchungen ablegen
– bei Taubheitsgefühl Medizinprodukt lockern oder ggf. abnehmen
– bei anhaltenden Beschwerden den Arzt oder Fachhandel aufsuchen
– Medizinprodukt indikationsgerecht einsetzen
– gleichzeitige Nutzung anderer Produkte nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt
– keine Änderungen am Produkt vornehmen
– nicht auf offenen Wunden tragen
– nicht verwenden bei Unverträglichkeiten gegen eines der verwendeten

– kein Wiedereinsatz – dieses Hilfsmittel ist zur Versorgung eines Patienten

– während der Tragedauer des Protektors: keine lokale Anwendung von Cremes
oder Salben im Bereich des angelegten Hilfsmittels – kann Material zerstören
Anziehanleitung
Ziehen Sie den Hüftprotektor wie eine Hose an. Durch die in die Hose
integrierten Taschen ist eine korrekte Positionierung der Protektorenkissen
sichergestellt.
Zum Entnehmen der Protektorenkissen wenden Sie die Hose „auf links".
Stülpen Sie nun die obere Abdecklasche der Protektorentasche hinter das
Protektorenkissen und ziehen Sie das Protektorenkissen aus dem unteren Teil
der Tasche.
Zum Einsetzen des Protektors klappen Sie die obere Abdecklasche nach
außen, um den Protektor mit der breiten Seite voran in den unteren Teil der
Tasche einschieben und abschließend die Abdecklasche über das schmale
Ende des Schaumkissens zu stülpen. Beachten Sie, dass die konkave Seite
des Protektoren-Kissens zum Körper hin zeigt.

Intended purpose
This medical device is a hip protector for reducing the forces which influence
the hip/femoral neck impact absorption in case of a fall.
Indications
Tendency to fall for various reasons.
Contraindications
Lymph drainage disorders, also unclear soft tissue swellings distal to the
aid positioned, sensory and circulatory disorders with the region of the body
treated, skin diseases in the part of the body treated.
Application risks/Important notes
The expert staff from whom you have received the medical device will select
the appropriate size and instruct you regarding its use.
– remove the medical device prior to radiological examinations
– in case of numbness, loosen the medical device and remove it if necessary
– in case of persistent complaints, consult the physician or specialist retailer
– use the medical device in accordance with therapeutic needs
– only use other products simultaneously after consultation with your physician
– do not make any changes to the product
– do not wear it on open wounds
– do not use in case of intolerance of one of the materials used
– no re-use – this medical aid is intended for treating one patient
– whilst wearing the protector, please neither use any creams nor ointments
on or around it as they can destroy the material
Fitting instructions
Put the hip protector on in the same manner as a pair of trousers. The pockets
integrated in the trousers ensures correct positioning of the protector pads.
To remove the protector pads, turn the trousers "inside-out". Then put the
upper protector bag cover flap behind the protector pad and pull the protector
pad out of the lower section of the bag.
To use the protector, fold the upper cover flap outwards in order to push the
protector with the wide side first into the lower section of the bag and finally
put the cover flap over the narrow end of the foam cushion. Please observe
that the concave protector cushion side must point towards the body.
Removal
Remove the hip protector similarly to a pair of trousers.

Utilisation prévue
Ce dispositif médical est un protecteur de hanches permettant de réduire les
forces exercées et d'absorber les chocs au niveau du col du fémur en cas
de chute.
Indications
Tendance à la chute de différentes origines.
Contre-indications
Troubles de la circulation lymphatique y compris tuméfaction des tissus mous
d'origine inconnue de l'aide posée, troubles de sensation et de la circulation
sanguine des régions corporelles traitées, maladies cutanées sur les zones
traitées.
Risques inhérents à l'utilisation/Remarques importantes
Le choix de la taille ainsi qu'une présentation du produit seront réalisés par le
personnel spécialisé qui vous fournira ce dispositif médical.

éventuellement le dispositif médical

Zum Ablegen wird der Hüftprotektor wie eine Hose ausgezogen.

Reinigungshinweise
Schonwaschgang Nicht chemisch reinigen
Nicht im Wäschetrockner trocknen
Vor dem Waschen die Protektorenkissen entnehmen. Die Hose kann bei 60°C
unter Verwendung von Feinwaschmittel in der Waschmaschine gewaschen
werden. Keinen Weichspüler verwenden. In Form ziehen und an der Luft
trocknen. Die Protektorenkissen per Hand mit lauwarmen Wasser und mildem
Reinigungsmittel abwaschen.
Gewährleistung
Für das erworbene Produkt gelten die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen des
Landes, in dem Sie das Produkt bezogen haben. Bitte wenden Sie sich
an Ihren Fachhandel, sollten Sie einen Gewährleistungsfall vermuten.
Bitte das Produkt vor Einreichung eines Gewährleistungsfalles reinigen.
Wurden beiliegende Hinweise der Gebrauchsanweisung nicht ausreichend
beachtet, so kann die Gewährleistung beeinträchtigt werden bzw. entfallen.
Ausgeschlossen ist eine Gewährleistung bei nicht indikationsgerechter
Anwendung, Nichtbeachtung der Anwendungsrisiken, -hinweise sowie
eigenmächtig vorgenommenen Änderungen am Produkt.

bei sach- und anwendungsgemäßem Umgang bestimmt.

Cleaning information

Do not dry in a tumble dryer
Remove the protector pads before washing. The trousers can be washed
at 60°C in the washing machine using mild detergents. Do not use fabric
conditioner. Stretch back into shape and dry in the fresh air. Hand-wash the
protection pads with lukewarm water and mild detergents.
Guarantee
The legal regulations of the country in which you acquired the product apply
to the purchased product. Please contact your specialist retailer if you suspect
a warranty claim. Please clean the product before submitting a warranty
claim. If the enclosed instructions for use have not been properly observed,
the warranty may be impaired or cancelled. The warranty does not cover use
of the product inappropriate for the indication, non-observance of application
risks, instructions and unauthorised modifications to the product.
Useful life/Lifetime of the product
The lifetime of the medical device is determined by its natural wear and tear if
treated appropriately and as recommended.
Duty of notification
If a serious worsening of the state of health occurs when using the
medical device, you are obliged to notify the specialist dealer or us as the
manufacturer and the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency
(MHRA).

Medical device | Single patient – multiple use
– ne pas utiliser en cas d'intolérance à l'un des matériaux utilisés
– ne pas réutiliser. Ce dispositif est conçu pour le soin d'un seul patient.
– pendant le port du protecteur : ne pas utiliser de crème ou de pommade
dans la zone d'utilisation du produit, risque de dommage du matériau
Instruction d'application
Enfilez le protecteur de hanches comme une culotte. Les poches intégrées à
la culotte assurent un positionnement correct des coussins de protection.
La culotte est mise « à l'envers » pour que les coussins de protection puissent
être retirés. Posez maintenant la patte de couverture supérieure de la poche
de protection derrière le coussin de protection, puis retirez le coussin de
protection de la partie inférieure de la poche.
Pour insérer le protecteur, rabattez la patte d'obturation supérieure vers
l'extérieur afin de faire glisser le protecteur par le côté large dans la partie
inférieure de la poche. Enfin, posez la patte d'obturation par-dessus
l'extrémité étroite du coussin en mousse. Veillez à ce que la partie concave du
coussin de protection soit dirigée vers le corps.
Retirer
Le protecteur de hanches peut être retiré comme une culotte.

Conseils de lavage
Lavage délicat Ne pas nettoyer à sec
Ne pas sécher au sèche-linge
Retirer le protecteur de hanches avant le lavage. La culotte peut être lavée
en machine à 60° avec une lessive douce. Ne pas utiliser d'assouplissant.
Mettre en forme et faire sécher à l'air libre. Laver les coussins de protection à
la main avec de l'eau tiède et un produit de nettoyage doux.
