To complete the anti-mite treatment, please also observe the following procedure
once a month.
• Disconnect the control cables from the power outlet.
• Press the grip levers on the sides of each control connector to disconnect the
connector of each control (15) from the connector of each heating panel (7).
• Take the heated mattress cover off the bed.
• Separate the press studs of the heating panels (5) from the press studs of the
mattress cover (1) one at a time carefully, taking care in this operation to carefully
pull the fabric section next to each press stud (1, 5) [Fig. E]. Next, remove the two
heating panels (4) (6).
• Wash the mattress cover without the heating panels in the washing machine by
following the washing instructions.
• Thoroughly clean the mattress with a vacuum cleaner set to maximum power,
using the specific upholstery brush.
• Clean the heating panels (4) (6) with a vacuum cleaner set to minimum power,
using a gentle brush with soft bristles.
Follow the assembly instructions for the mattress cover at the beginning of this
chapter before re-use.
USE OF HEATED MATTRESS COVER AT NIGHT
The anti-mite heated mattress cover can be used to heat the bed for sleeping at
night by setting the control to the following temperature levels:
6: temperature for rapid preheating
5-4: average preheating temperatures
3-1: temperatures for continuous or nocturnal use
• Turn the heated mattress cover on from the back of the control unit, moving the
switch to the ON position 'I' (14).
• To pre-heat the bed quickly, press the temperature selector button (12) until
LED 6 lights up (9). When first switched on, the control automatically suggests
temperature 6.
• The control is equipped with an auto switch-off function that interrupts the
preheating after 2 hours from the selection of temperature 6. After this time, the
standby LED (13) lights up.
• In warmer periods it is possible to pre-heat the bed by selecting temperatures 4 or
5 by pressing the temperature selector button (12) until the desired temperature
LED lights up (9).
