Mask connector
•
Cut the connector fixing ring with a pair of pincers.
•
Change the connector and make sure the face blank rubber is correctly positioned.
•
Tighten the new fastening collar with collar pliers (supplied by the manufacture) or possibly with a pair of nippers.
Eye piece
•
Unscrew the bolts holding the visor frame.
•
Remove the visor from the face blank groove and check that it is clean.
•
Ease new visor into groove and ensure it is correctly positioned all around.
•
Position the visor frame and refit the fastening bolts.
Speech diaphragm and O-ring seal
•
Unscrew the speech case lid with the key (supplied by the manufacture).
•
Remove the speech diaphragm.
•
Change the O-ring seal and lubricate with silicon grease.
•
Position the speech diaphragm in the box and screw lid back on.
Body harness
•
Pull front and side straps free of the reels while pushing the buckle clips forward.
•
Pull the ends of the new strap through the reels already fitted on the buckles.
Flange and calibrated valve spring (mask called: "positive pressure")
These operations require bench calibration of the valve. Only personnel that have taken a training course by Honeywell Respiratory Safety
Products are qualified to carry out this maintenance.
