DESCRIPTION
Planopol-2 is a standard machine for
lapping, wet grinding and aluminium and
diamond polishing of metallographic, ce-
ramic and mineralogical specimens.
It has a circulat turntable accepting
grinding, lapping and/or polishing discs
of diameters up to 300 mm.
Supported by precision ball bearings, the
turntable is driven via a V-belt drive by
a powerful two-speed electric
which ensures smooth and noiseless run-
ning.
Motor and turntable are mounted on a
steady steel frame also supporting the
cabinet. The latter is provided with a
cock,
