FootStool
SystemRoMedic
TM
FootStool is used to raise the position of the knees and thereby enable safer, easier bed-to-wheelchair transfer in a
seated position. FootStool also provides good support under the feet during visits to the toilet, or when repositioning
farther back in a chair. FootStool is made of a material with closed cells, which makes it easy to keep clean.
SystemRoMedic is a series of different models of transfer assistive devices. The choice of assistive devices depends on
the transfer situation and the patient's functional capability and needs.

Functional inspection

Check the condition and function of the assistive device
regularly.
Placement of FootStool
Place the FootStool under the patient's feet when the patient is sitting on the toilet or in a wheel-
chair. FootStool is recessed at the front to allow the caregiver to place a foot as close as possible
to the stool. The back also has a small recess to facilitate placement close to the toilet.
