IMPORTANT SAFETY ADVICE

Some basic safety measures must always be observed when you use electrical equipment. These include
the following:

1. Before you use the equipment for the first time, please read the operating instructions and
keep them in a safe place for future reference.
2. Do not use the juicer if the filter has been damaged.
3. NEVER use the juicer without the pulp collector.
4. To prevent electric shock, never immerse the cable, plug or motor housing in water or any other liquid.
5. Always switch the machine off and take out the plug in the following situations:

1) Before fitting or removing any components;
2) Before cleaning the machine;
3) After using the machine.

6. Do not use the juicer if you can see any visible damage, or if the cable and/or plug are faulty. If the
machine seems defective in any way, or falls over, or is damaged in any other way, please take it
for fault diagnosis and repair to a servicing company authorised by SOLIS, where it can be returned
to working order, and where mechanical and electrical adjustments can be made.

7. Only use the pusher that was supplied with the machine. Children must be kept under supervision

when using the machine.
8. Do not touch any moving parts.

9. This machine is not suitable for use by people (including children) who have physical, sensory or
mental disabilities, or who are lacking in experience or technical knowledge, unless they are instructed
appropriately or are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety.

10. Do not use the appliance out of doors.

11. Switch the machine off before removing the lid, and wait until the filter stops moving.
12. Do not leave children or disabled people alone with the machine without supervision.
13. The cable must not be allowed to come into contact with any hot surfaces. Keep the cable
out of children's reach.
14. Do not leave the juicer unattended when it is in operation.
15. The machine is intended for domestic use only.
16. Children must not be allowed to play with the machine.
17. Wait until the motor stops moving before disconnecting the juicer from the mains electricity supply.
18. Apart from cleaning, this machine does not need any maintenance. Any repairs must always be
carried out by a SOLIS-authorised service centre.
19. Always unplug the juicer after use.
We recommend the installation of a residual current circuit-breaker to provide additional protection
when using electrical appliances. It is advisable to use a circuit-breaker with a nominal fault current
of maximum 30 mA. Your local electrician can advise you.
This machine is intended for domestic use only. It is not suitable for commercial use.
WARNING:
DO NOT RELY ON THE ROTATING SWITCH ALONE TO SWITCH THE MACHINE OFF. ALWAYS
PULL THE PLUG OUT WHEN YOU CARRY OUT ANY MAINTENANCE OR ADJUSTMENT TASKS.
Never place your finger in the feed chute. Always unplug the machine before removing filling
material from the feed chute.
