Is the KISS Lanyard System waterproof?
Yes. If the system gets in contact with salt water, the system
should be rinsed in fresh water afterwards. The D­ring is
nickel plated brass, but could be replaced if necessary by any
prosthetist.
Is the KISS Lanyard System appropriate for high
activity amputees?
Yes, due to distal and proximal connection between liner and
socket, the patient benefits from enhanced rotation stability
and less distal pistoning.
