Das abzweigende Gleis dieser Weichen entspricht dem
HO-and N«piccolo» switches
CURRENT-CONDUCTINGFROG
The advantageof the FLEISCH MANNpoints with currenl conducting frogs
is that there is continuous, unbraken power in the frag of the point. The
frag of the point is wherethe two innerrails cross each other.
Importani: Points with the current-eondueting
frogs, must always be
set in the eorreet direetion from whieh the train (laco) is approaehing,
otherwise
there eould be a short eireuit when traversing
the frag
(Fig.1).
For example: If a train is coming out of track 1, then the point must be
set in the direction of track 1. Similarly if the train is coming out of
track 2, then the point must be set to track 2.
Running over a wrongly set point can be avoided by making it into a
"thinking" point, and installing isolating rail joiners in the inner rails leading
to the frag in tracks 1 and 2, at a suitable distance away (langest loco plus
over-run length)asshown in Fig. 2.

ELECTROMAGNETICOPERATION

, switehes. The point motors have end-off switehing, and are thereby
protected
from overload. Manual points ean be eonverted to eleetrie
points at any time, by simply elipping in the point motors (see the
eurrent eatalogue).
CONNECTIONS FOR THE CONTROL-BOX 6920
Connect the black lead of the points drive to the black terminal of the
transformer and the terminal on the side of the contral-box 6920 to the
white terminal of the transformer. The light- and dark-brown leads of the
points drive should be connected to the identically coloured terminals of
the contral-box (Fig. 3).
CONNECTIONS FOR THE POINTS SWITCH 6900
Connect the black lead of the points drive to the biack terminal of the
transformer and the white lead of the points switch (standard point 6900,
