Switching ON and OFF (Fig. 9)
CAUTION:
Before plugging in the tool, always check to see that
the switch trigger actuates properly and returns to the
"OFF" position when released.
To switch on, press the trigger. To switch off, release
the trigger.
Continuous running (Fig. 9)
Press the trigger and at the same time push the lock
button. To stop this lock position, press the trigger
and release it.
Front grip (Fig. 10)
The front grip position can be changed in 90° incre-
ments. Pull the front grip and rotate it to the desired
position.
Operation (Fig. 11)
Sand the workpiece while applying only slight pres-
sure to the tool. Keep the base flush with the work-
piece at all times.

CAUTION:
Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
unplugged before carrying out any work on the tool.
To maintain product safety and reliability, repairs,
maintenance or adjustment should be carried out by
a Makita Authorized Service Centre.
