1 Remove the lid of the battery compartment (1) and insert two AAA
1.5-volt batteries (2). Reattach the lid of the battery compartment
(3).
Make sure that the - and + poles point in the right direction.

1 Pull the cord out of the appliance and put the mains plug in the wall
socket.
2 Press the on/off button on top of the appliance to switch on the
