IMPORTANT - Keep in mind that the appliance will process your food within
seconds. In most cases, processing more than a few seconds will not be necessa-
ry. In most cases, you will get best results by operating the motor in short pulses.
7. Grasp the mixing jar and hold the on/off button pressed for letting the motor
agitate. The motor stops automatically, when you release the on/off button.
8. When your food reaches the desired consistency: Unplug the appliance and turn
the mixing jar counter-clockwise for unlocking the mixing jar. Then remove the
mixing jar. Turn the blade assembly counter-clockwise for opening the mixing jar.
9. Immediately after processing, rinse the blade assembly and, if desired, close
the mixing jar with the appropriate lid (see: 'Properties of Your Design Smoothie
Maker Mix & Go').
10. After each use, clean all parts, that have come in contact with food (see: 'Care
and Cleaning').

SOLVING PROBLEMS

If any problems occur during operation, you will find solutions in this section.
Problem
The motor does not start
and the blades do not
rotate.
The mixing jar is leaking.
Reason
The safety interlock is
active, because the blade
assembly or the mixing jar
are not installed correctly.
The blade assembly is
blocked.
The thermal safety switch
is active.
There is a severe problem. Unplug the appliance and get in contact with your vendor.
The blade assembly or lid
is not installed correctly.
The Solution
For operation, the blade assembly must be screwed cor-
rectly onto the mixing jar and the mixing jar must be
locked correctly onto the motor base (see: 'Operation').
Remove the mixing jar from the motor base and take out
any obstacles. Use short pulses (see: 'Operation').
If the problem persists: attempt to start the motor with
the mixing jar filled with some water.
If the problem still persists: refer to the following entries.
Unplug the appliance and remove the mixing jar. Leave
the appliance cool down for approx. 30 minutes. There-
after, try again.
Ensure to hold the blade assembly and lids correctly, while
turning them onto the mixing jar. The threads may not be
misaligned (tilted).
