Safety instructions

• WARNING: The appliance and its accessible parts
become hot during use. Make sure that the heating
elements are not touched.
• WARNING: When the appliance is operated in grill or
combi mode, children should only use the appliance
under adult supervision due to the temperatures gene-
rated. Children under 8 years of age must be kept away.
• Some parts of the appliance may retain heat for a long
time; let it cool down before touching areas directly
exposed to heat.
• The surfaces of adjacent furniture can become hot
during operation.
• Under no circumstances may the appliance be opera-
ted empty. This is very dangerous!
• WARNING: Liquids and other food must not be heated
in closed containers as they may explode.
• Only use cookware and utensils that are suitable for
use in microwave ovens (see corresponding chapter).
• Metal-containing vessels or utensils may only be used
in grill mode (without microwaves).
• When using plastic or paper containers, make sure that
the temperature resistance is at least 120°C and keep
an eye on this.
• If smoke appears, switch off the appliance or unplug
the appliance and keep the door closed to extinguish
any flames.
• Since microwave heating can lead to delayed cooking,
care must be taken when handling liquids.
• Baby food should be stirred or shaken and the tempera-
ture should be controlled afterwards to avoid burns.
• Do not heat eggs with shell in the microwave.
These can explode, even after the cooking process has
been completed.
• When removing containers from the appliance, make
sure that the turntable is not moved.
• If you do not use the appliance for a longer period
of time, it is recommended to disconnect it from the
power supply.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Before cleaning and maintenance work, disconnect the
appliance from the power supply to avoid electric shock.
• Always keep the appliance clean and free of food resi-
dues.
Failure to keep the appliance in a clean condition may
result in surface damage, which can have a negative
effect on the life of the unit and may lead to hazardous
situations.
• Do not use steam cleaners for cleaning.
Risk of short circuit and electric shock!
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or hard metal scrapers
to clean the glass of the oven door.
This can scratch the surface and lead to glass breakage.
