Open the press head by pulling the latch (3) carefully. As a result the shackle opens
due to the power of a spring. (see figure on page 42).
• Put the two halves of the dies (4) one after the other in the recording / pivot yoke (2)
of the press head.
• Push the dies (4) carefully into the pivot yoke (2) until the bullet slips in the track of
the dies (4). Make sure, that the dies (4) have snaped in correctly before processing.
• Close the shackle until the latch (3) snaps in.
• To remove the dies (4) push them carefully out of the track.
CAUTION
This tool works under pressure. Keep hands out of danger zone between
the two dies during the crimping process.

Work process crimping

The crimping process is carried out automatically on pressing the start/stop button (3)
on the handle. The operation can be interrupted
1. during the initial phase by releasing the start/stop button (3) (see figure on page 37)
2. at any time by pressing the reverse button (4) (see figure on page 37) firmly
Having interrupted the crimping process the connection can be crimped once again if
form and position of the connection part engaged have not been changed.
