Meaning
Filter time constant
For adapting the digital input filter.
At a signal step, 63% of the changes are registered after the filter time
constant has elapsed.
Values between 0.1 and 0.7 are interpreted as 0.8 (sampling time).
If the filter time constant is long:
- high damping of interference signals
- slow reaction of the process value display to process value changes
