• Dispose of the used product according

• The insertion device may only be used
on one person.

Attaching the infusion set

Choose an infusion site away from your
waistline, any scar tissue, bones, navel and
recent infusion sites.

Wash your hands.
j
Disinfect the chosen infusion site as
instructed by your healthcare team.

Let your skin dry completely.

Push the pretensioning element of the
insertion device into the base.

Remove the head set of the infusion set from
the packaging.
j
Hold the head set by the needle cover.
j
Insert the head set, with the blue handling
aid pointing upwards, into the insertion
device, until you feel the head set click into
place.
Do not look into the opening of the
W
insertion device when there is an infusion
set in there.
