Diagnostic data

The BMF 415KW-HAKKI-... reports diagnostic data
(events) to the controlling system (see Tab. 6-18) or the
controlling system can read out the status using the
diagnostics parameters.

DEVICE TEMPERATURE OVERRUN (see section 6.5.6 Threshold values for the temperature
warning on page 16) – The set upper temperature threshold has been exceeded.
DEVICE TEMPERATURE UNDER-RUN (section 6.5.6 Threshold values for the temperature
warning on page 16) – The set lower temperature threshold has been exceeded.
TEMPERATURE FAULT- OVERLOAD – The temperature has exceeded the specified
maximum temperature. The heat source must be removed.
HARDWARE FAULT – There is a problem with the device hardware. Possible causes:
– Internal communication problem with the frontend
– Internal communication problem with the EEPROM
It may be that excessive electromagnetic interference is interrupting sensor-internal bus
communication. Communication resumes as soon as the interference is gone. If this is not the
case, the BMF 415KW-HAKKI-... must be replaced.
