Entsorgung
Dieses Gerät ist entsprechend der europäischen
Richtlinie über Elektro- und Elektronik-Alt geräte
(waste electrical and electronic equipment – WEEE)
gekennzeichnet.
Nach Ablauf der Le bensdauer ist das Gerät als
Elektronikschrott zu entsorgen.
Hierzu erfragen Sie bitte die für Sie zuständige
Sammelstelle bei KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG,
einer KARL STORZ Niederlassung oder Ihrem
Fachhändler. Im Geltungsbereich der Richtlinie ist
KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG für die ordnungsgemä-
ße Entsorgung des Gerätes verantwortlich.
Reparaturprogramm
Zur Überbrückung der Reparaturzeit erhal ten Sie in
der Regel ein Leihgerät, das unmittelbar nach Erhalt
des reparierten Gerätes wieder an KARL STORZ
zurückzugeben ist.
In Deutschland wenden Sie sich im Falle einer

Wichtige Hinweise
Aus infektionspräventiven Gründen ist ein Ver-
sand von kontaminierten Medizinprodukten strikt
abzulehnen. Medizinprodukte sind direkt vor Ort zu
dekontaminieren, um Kontakt- und aerogene Infek-
tionen (beim Personal) zu vermeiden. Wir behalten
uns das Recht vor, kontaminierte Instrumente/Gerä-
te an den Absender zurück zuschicken.
Reparaturen, Änderungen oder Erweiterungen,
die nicht von KARL STORZ oder durch von
KARL STORZ autorisierte Fachleute durchge-
führt werden, führen zum Verlust aller Garantie-
ansprüche. KARL STORZ übernimmt keine Ga-
rantie für die Funktionsfähigkeit von Geräten oder
Instrumenten, deren Reparatur durch unautorisierte
Dritte durchgeführt wurde.

Disposal
This device has been marked in accordance with
the European Directive on waste electrical and
electronic equipment (WEEE).
At the end of its useful operating life, dispose of the
device as electronic scrap.
Please ask either KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG,
a KARL STORZ subsidiary or your specialist dealer
for information on your local collection point.
Within the scope of application of this Directive,
KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG is responsible for the
proper disposal of this device.
Repair Program
Usually to bridge the repair period, you will receive a
device on loan which you then return to KARL STORZ
as soon as you receive the repaired device.

Important Information
In order to prevent infection, it is strictly forbidden
to ship contaminated medical devices. All medical
devices must be decontaminated on site, to avoid
contact and aerogenous infections (among staff).
We reserve the right to return contaminated instru-
ments/equipment to the sender.
Repairs, changes or expansions which are not car-
ried out by KARL STORZ or by experts authorized
by KARL STORZ will invalidate all guarantee rights.
KARL STORZ gives no guarantee on the correct
functioning of equipment or instruments which have
been repaired by unauthorized third parties.

Gestión de desecho
Este aparato está identificado conforme a la
directiva europea referida a aparatos eléctricos y
electrónicos viejos (waste electrical and electronic
equipment o WEEE).
Después de concluida su vida útil, deseche el equi-
po como residuo electrónico.
Para ello, consulte a KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG,
a una sociedad distribuidora de KARL STORZ o a
su comercio especializado para averiguar el centro
de recogida que le corresponde. En el área de
validez de la directiva, KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG
es responsable de la correcta gestión residual del
aparato.
Programa de reparaciones
Con el fin de que el cliente pueda trabajar durante
el período de la reparación, generalmente se le
presta un aparato similar, el cual habrá de ser
devuelto inmediatamente a KARL STORZ después
de haber recibido el aparato reparado.

En el extranjero les rogamos dirigirse a la sucursal
competente de KARL STORZ o bien a los distribui-
dores autorizados.
Observaciones importantes
Con el fin de prevenir infecciones rechazamos
estrictamente la recepción de envíos de productos
sanitarios contaminados. Los productos sanitarios
han de ser descontaminados directamente in situ,
con el fin de evitar infecciones aerógenas o por
contacto (entre el personal). Nos reservamos el
derecho de devolver a su propietario aquellos ins-
trumentos/aparatos que estuvieran contaminados.
Las reparaciones, modificaciones o ampliaciones
que no hayan sido realizadas por KARL STORZ o
por personal experto autorizado por KARL STORZ
comportan la pérdida de los derechos de garantía.
KARL STORZ no asume garantía alguna en cuanto
a la funcionalidad de aquellos aparatos o instru-
mentos, cuya reparación haya sido realizada por
terceros no autorizados.
