12. Battery Change

a) Weather Station
The battery must be replaced when the display contrast is very low.
After the battery change, all measured data are lost, as is synchronisation with the outdoor sensor. Proceed as described
in chapters 8. b) and c) for battery change.

Remove the batteries from the weather station and outdoor sensor.
First insert new batteries in the weather station. When the regular display appears after a few seconds,
insert the batteries removed first in the outdoor sensor again.
Only this permits the weather station to re-learn the outdoor sensor safety code.
b) Outdoor Sensor
A battery change is required when the lower left of the display shows the battery flat icon or the weather station no
longer receives and measuring data from the outdoor sensor. The weather station will then only show, e.g., dashes for
the measured values.
Proceed as described in chapters 8. b) and c) for battery change.

Remove the batteries from the weather station and outdoor sensor.
Insert the new batteries in the weather station. When the regular display appears after a few seconds,
insert the new batteries in the outdoor sensor again.
Only this permits the weather station to re-learn the outdoor sensor safety code.
