6. Battery change
If the voltage of the battery is lower than 7 V, the battery
status light will shine and the battery must be replaced:
• Install a 9 V battery into the battery compart-ment in line
with the positive and negative po-larity.
• The battery must be taken out from the com-partment, if
the meter is not to be used for a long time.

7. Maintenance

• Pay attention to prevent moisture and dust during appli-
cation.
• Always keep it dry and clean to ensure the measure-
ment accuracy.
• The place where the meter is kept must be clean, the
ambient temperature is 0 – 40 °C.
8. Warranty and Service

8.1 Warranty

Each Moisture Meter Wöhler HF 220 will be tested in all
functions and will leave our factory only after extensive
quality control testing.
If used properly, the warranty period for the Wöhler HF 220
will be 12 month from the date of sale. Not covered by the
warranty are batteries.
Service by non authorized personnel or making
modifications to the meter voids any warranty.

8.2 Service

Wöhler has built our reputation on excellence in customer
service. Therefore, of course, we are readily available to
assist you after the guarantee period ends.
• Send us the device, and we will repair it and return it to
you with our package service.
• Immediate help is provided by our technical staff over
the telephone.
