FileSafe installation

Click on [FileSafe] on the screen in Step
2, page 46. Click [Next] when the screen
on the right is displayed.

Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.

After installation,
Select "Yes, I want to restart my com-
puter now".
Click [Finish].
The computer now reboots.
•
You can use FileSafe after rebooting.
Starting FileSafe
From the Start menu, select [Programs] → → → → → [Panasonic
DVD-RAM] → → → → → [FileSafe] → → → → → [FileSafe].
Note:
•
When using FileSafe on Windows 2000/XP, login
under the user name for the administrator group.
•
FileSafe manages discs based on their volume
names, so you must enter volume names on the
hard disk and DVD-RAM discs you are using (See
page 62 or 64)

To view the online manual
You need Acrobat
from the CD-ROM supplied to install.
E : \AcrobatReader\ar505enu.exe (This assumes that the drive letter assigned to the drive for CD-
ROM media is E:.)
To start the online manual, from the Start menu, select [Programs] → [Panasonic DVD-RAM] →
[FileSafe] → [User Manual].
