Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or damp

during use. Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be
crushed or damaged.
Should the appliance, the power cable or the plug become

damaged, arrange for them to be repaired by Customer
Services to avoid hazardous situations.
Do not use the appliance outdoors.

Do not use extension cables – this will make it easier to dis-

connect the appliance quickly in an emergency.
Never take hold of the appliance, the power cable or the

power plug with wet hands.
Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route the cable
►
so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over.
Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and pro-
►
tect it from being damaged. Under no circumstances should
the appliance be submersed in liquids or liquids be allowed
to penetrate the housing. Do not expose the appliance to hu-
midity and do not use it outdoors. If liquid gets into the housing,
disconnect the appliance from the mains power socket im-
mediately and have it repaired by a qualified technician.
Unplug the appliance immediately after use. The appliance is
►
completely free of electrical power ONLY when unplugged.
