Read this documentation before starting up
the machine. This is a precondition for safe
working and flawless operation.
Observe the safety warnings in this documen-
tation and on the product.
This documentation is a permanent integral

passed on to the new owner if the product is

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The drawbar installation connects the tractor ve-
hicle to the trailer frame. A gas spring supports the
adjustment. The gross weight rating is stamped
onto each overrun hitch (AE).
The gross weight rating of the trailer is not allowed
to exceed or fall below this value range.
The drawbar is only allowed to be used when
completely assembled and after having been
tested. It must be used for connecting the trailer
to the towing vehicle.
Any other use is regarded as not in accordance
with the intended use, and is prohibited.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION!
When adjusting the drawbar, make sure
that the overrun hitch/hitch components
are parallel to the drawbar.
The toothed lock washers must engage with
one another without play, so as the ensure dri-
ving stability and driving safety.
CAUTION!
Danger!
Always secure the trailer with chocks
prior to performing any maintenance and
care jobs.
WARNING!
Risk of accidents due to failure of the
parking brake!
Always guide the breakaway cable
through the eye of the breakaway cable
guide! If the breakaway cable is not rou-
ted through the eye, the parking brake
will not be operated correctly when the
trailer is unhitched.
The attachment to the vehicle must be in ac-
cordance with the requirements for height-
adjustable landing gear (support wheel) with
an imposed load greater than 50 kg, acc. to
94/20/EC, Appendix VII, or ECE R55-01 Ap-
pendix 7.
Pay attention to any body builder guidelines
that are provided.
The handbrake lever is not allowed to make
contact in an emergency. Pay attention to the
corresponding clearances (3-X)!
