Operating Instructions R8/17SF to R120/11SF and R8/17SF+ to R120/11SF+
The tubular drives of types R8/17SF to R120/11SF and R8/17SF+ to R120/11SF+ are intended exclusively for the operation
of awnings and conservatory sunshades. To function perfectly, the drives require a firm stop in the upper end position (awning
retracted). They can only be used in coupled systems if all parts of the system run exactly synchronously and reach the upper
end position at the same time.
The formation of groups, as with the RF(+) types, is not supported with SF(+) tubular drives.
Temporary group formation, in which a TouchControl or MiniTouch is programmed into several SF(+) tubular drives (building
area e.g. facades) is also not permitted.
For use with roller shutters, please use types R8/17RF to R40/17RF or R8/17RF+ to R20/17RF+. For reasons of product
liability, other applications of these drives are only permitted with the prior approval of BECKER-Antriebe GmbH.
If the controls and drives are used for other purposes than those specified above, or if modifications are made to the equipment,
which affect the safety of the system, then the manufacturer or supplier will not accept any liability for possible injuries or
damages occurred to persons or to property, nor for any consequential damages.
For operation or possible repair of the system, these operating instructions must be strictly adhered to. In the event of improper
handling, the manufacturer or supplier will not accept liability for possible injuries or damages occurred to persons or to

These BECKER sunshade/awning drives are intended exclusively for the operation of sunshade/awning systems. For reasons
of product liability any other use is only permitted with the prior approval of BECKER-Antriebe GmbH.
Caution
These drives cannot be operated with conventional switching devices (switches, timers or the like). They are
operated by radio control using the TouchControl transmitter supplied.
Electrical connections must only be performed by a qualified electrician. Disconnect the mains supply before
installation. Please hand this information to the electrician performing the work.
