• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm one. The
condensation that forms may destroy the product. Therefore, allow the product to warm up to ambient
temperature before using it or connecting the rechargeable battery. This may take several hours.
d) Residual risks
• This appliance complies with technical regulations and relevant safety regulations. However, the
following may still occur during use:
- Danger to the life and limbs of the user or other people.
- Damage to the appliance.
- Damage to other material assets.
e) Rechargeable batteries
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as they constitute a
choking hazard for children and pets.
• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never recharge non rechargeable
batteries. This may cause an explosion!
• Protect the rechargeable battery from moisture and humidity.
• Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of rechargeable batteries may cause an
explosion or a fire!
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the rechargeable battery or the
product into fire. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
• Charge the rechargeable battery regularly, even if you are not using the product. Due to the rechargeable
battery technology being used, you do not need to discharge the rechargeable battery first.
• Never leave the rechargeable battery unattended when it is charging.
• Place the product on a heat-resistant surface before charging the rechargeable battery. It is normal that
a certain amount of heat is generated during charging.
