• The cutting angle can be set in different positions.
• Press the button for cutting angle adjustment (8) and adjust the cutting angle as required. Release the button and
adjust the trimmer head until it clicks into place.

d) Trimming the grass

When operating the grass trimmer, wear suitable protective equipment consisting of safety goggles, ear
protection, safety gloves, sturdy safety footwear, and clothing with long sleeves and long trousers. Items
such as stones or wood chips can fly around during operation. Keep this in mind and warn uninvolved third
parties. Keep other people and animals away from the working area.
Remove the rechargeable battery from the product when you put the product down and make a short
break. Unintentional switching on can lead to injuries or damage.
Do not use the product in bad weather, on wet ground, in rain or thunderstorm. Pay attention to good
lighting conditions.
• Only turn on the product if your hands and feet are at a sufficient distance from the cutting area. Hold the grass
trimmer by both handles and press the locking switch (1) on the main handle (2). Simultaneously press the on/off
switch (3) to turn on the grass trimmer.
• When you release the on/off switch, the grass trimmer turns off.
• Move the grass trimmer left to right and keep it away from your body. When trimming longer grass, shorten it
gradually from top to bottom. Slowly move the grass trimmer while trimming and keep it inclined (approx. at 30°)
so that the trimmer head is parallel to the ground.
