• Never use the grass trimmer without a protective cover.
CAUTION! The protective cover is important for your safety, the
safety of other people, as well as for the proper functioning of the
grass trimmer. Failure to follow these safety instructions is not only
dangerous, but will also invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
• Use extreme care when handling the cutting blade. It can cause deep
cuts.
• Never try to stop the trimming device (trimmer line) with your hands.
Always let it come to a stop on its own.
• CAUTION! After turning off, the trimmer line will rotate for a few
seconds.
• Use only an original nylon trimmer line. Under no circumstances use
metal wire instead of nylon.
• Do not use the grass trimmer to cut grass that is not in contact with
the ground. Do not cut grass that is located on walls or stones.
• Do not turn on the grass trimmer in closed or poorly ventilated rooms
or in the vicinity of flammable and/or explosive liquids, gas, solids
or dusts. The product may generate sparks during use – explosion
hazard!
• The user of the grass trimmer is responsible for any damage caused
to third parties by the grass trimmer in its working area.
• Do not cross any roads or gravel paths while the grass trimmer is still
running.
• The grass trimmer must be used according to this manual and only
in a vertical position to the ground. Any other position is dangerous.
• Check regularly that the screws are properly secured.
