6.4. Commencing operation

• check the mains voltage against the stated mains voltage to ensure it is
correct.
• observe permissible ambient conditions for the instrument.
• during cold weather, wait around 30 to 45 minutes after delivery and
unpacking, until the instrument has reached room temperature (18°C to
23°C).
• charge the batteries for 3-4 hours prior to initial start-up.
• the operating elements are shown in section 7.
