Before first Use
Unpack all parts of the unit and check all parts for any damage in transit.
Dispose of packaging materials or store it out of reach of children. There is
risk of suffocation!
Before using the unit for the first time clean all parts.
Keep the manual close to the unit as it is part of the unit. The manual
contains useful hints on operating and cleaning the unit.
Operation
For the first time run the dehydrator for 30 minutes with empty dehydrating
trays. Thereafter rinse the dehydrating trays in water and dry all parts well.
This procedure is only necessary before first use.
1.
Place the base (5) on an even and level surface. Always make sure
there is enough space over and beside the unit in order to prevent
damages (e. g. to cabinets) due to hot steam escaping from the unit.
2.
Arrange the fruits/vegetables on the dehydrat-
ing trays. Stack the dehydrating trays (4) up.
3.
Insert the nozzle into the motor unit and turn
clockwise to engage in place.
4.
Place the motor unit on the lid. Slightly move
the motor unit in one direction, so it fits proba-
bly into the lid and locks securely.
5.
Connect the plug to power mains.
6.
Push the On/Off switch (9). The display turns on and shows the pre-
set dehydrating temperature of 50° C and the pre-set time of
10 hours. With the buttons "Temp" (7) and "Time" (8) you can adjust
the dehydrating temperature and the time according to your wishes.
The following settings are possible:
Temperature: 4 up to 70° C
Dehydrator
Time: 1 up to approx. 48.00 hours (47.59)
