Safety Notes
Never use the pot without water in the double wall.
Please make sure, that the double wall contents hot water after cooking. Pour
it out before cleaning to avoid scalds unawares.
The simmer pot is not suitable for inductions cookers.

Operation

1. Open the handle trap (1) by pressing the red locking knob (2) sidewise left
on the handle trap (1) and by pressing the black lever on the handle.
2. Fill 0.25 l of water in the inner shell of the pot through the filler hole. With
the water level indicator you can monitor the water level. Never heat the
pot without water! Do not fill in too much water; otherwise hot water could
escape during cooking. Maybe water has to be refilled when cooking for
longer periods of time (more than 45 minutes). Use hot tap water to refill
while cooking and make sure that no food rests gets into the double wall.
3. Now heat the pot to the highest level. The pot has reached operating
temperature as soon as the water in the double wall cooks and damp
escapes from the exhaust opening on the handle. The heat addition can
be reduced as far as the water in the double wall will just cook. The effect
of heat addition too strong would be that the water in the double wall
evaporates unnecessarily fast. Escaping steam and water drops because
of this are normal for a simmer pot.
4. The pot's content will be heated sparingly to 95°C at the most because of
the water squench in the double wall.
Cleaning
Clean the pot as usual.
It is recommended to clean the water jacket in the double wall with
conventional citric-acid-based decalcifier every now and then. Please note
the instructions on the label of the decalcifier.
