2 Laser beam on the scale of the reference board
5. Compare the marked values on the scales of the
reference boards.
 The yaw angle is correct if the two values vary by
a maximum of 1 mm.

The retainer bushings (Abb. 29, item 1) on the
mounts for the precision measuring bar can be
moved by 2 to 3 mm (Abb. 29, item 3) for precision
adjustment of the yaw angle.

6. Loosen the screw (Abb. 29, item 2) of the retainer
bushing.
7. Carefully adjust the retainer bushing and tighten the
screw at 5 Nm.
8. Attach the precision measuring bar to the mounts.
9. Switch on the P-Assist S5.
 The laser beam marks the reference boards.
10. Compare the marked values on the scales of the
reference boards.
11. Repeat precision adjustment of the retainer bus-
hings until the laser beam marks the reference
boards at the same value.
12. Use sealing wax to mark the screws.

behind the L -bracket on the precision measuring bar
(Abb. 30, item 1).
2. Use the star knob screw (Abb. 30, item 2) to attach
the mount for large calibration boards on the precis-
ion measuring bar.

The tape measure holder (1 690 381 212) can be
used for the SCT 141x and for the DAS 800/1000
(VAS 6430).
