• Provided that the device is placed or installed in its
normal position, children between the age of 3 and 8
may be allowed to switch the device on and off if they are
supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the
device and have understood the potential dangers that may
arise.
• Children between the age of 3 and 8 should not plug the
device into a plug socket, adjust the device, clean the de-
vice and/or carry out user maintenance tasks.
• The appliance should not be used unsupervised.
• Make sure that the appliance is out of reach of children and
that the cable does not hang down.
WARNING! Risk of burning!
• The machine may become hot during operation!
• Only touch the buttons while the coffee maker is working.
Especially the warming plate is very hot!
• Don't open the cap while cooking, risk of scalding caused of
splashing water and hot steam.
• Allow the device to cool down completely before cleaning.
WARNING! Danger of overheating and fire!
• Do not place the machine close to other objects, especially
above the machine (steam may cause damage).
• Do not cover the device, e.g. with cloths or similar.
• Please remember that the appliance may stay hot for a long
time after it has been switched off.
• Never place the coffee maker, the power cord and the plug
on or near hot surfaces such as stovetops and ovens.
