Separate wiring
The following modules must be wired separately: The modules are supplied with power only via the separate DC
connecting cable.

SKQ 40-xx, SKT 40-xx

SKQ 80-xx, SKT 80-xx
The power supply unit SKZ 6-00 built in the headend base unit SKS 8-00 has a short and a long DC connecting
cable. Connect the short DC connecting cable to the first SKQ 40/80 module and the long DC connecting cable to
the fourth SKx 40/80 module. Connect the modules to each other using the enclosed DC connecting cable
SKZ 40­00. The two DC connecting cables SKZ 40-01are used to supply the output combiner. Connect the output
combiner to the last and the third module on both sides.
The power supply unit SKZ 5-01 built in the headend base unit SKS 4-01 has one DC connecting cable. It must be
connected to the first SKx 40/80 module. Connect the modules to each other using the enclosed DC connecting
cable SKZ 40-00. The DC connecting cable SKZ 40-01 is used to supply the output combiner. Connect the output
combiner to the last module.

Power supply of the SKS 40-00

The base unit SKS 40-00 is delivered without power supply unit. The output combiner is already mounted.
