3. Installation and commissioning

 Installation must be performed by authorized and skilled electricians only.
 Before inserting or changing a module, pull the mains plug from the socket!
 Installation of the device must be performed in compliance with the safety regulations defined by the
EN 60728-11 standard. Connect the device with an equipotential bonding cable (copper, minimum 4 mm²).
 Make sure that the supply voltage is within the permitted range.

Installing the modules

Unscrew both lower screws (2) in order to remove the housing cover of the SKS 40-00/8-00. Flap the housing
cover upward and remove it.
Unscrew the four rear fixing screws (3) in order to remove the 19" installation frame of the SKS 4-01.
Position the headend modules on the output combiner and fasten them with screws.
The output combiner of the SKS 40-00 and 4-01 has one DC connecting socket. The output combiner of the SKS 8-
00 has two DC connecting sockets. One on the left and one on the right.
