Problem
Cannot connect to WiFi

• The station is not broadcasting at
this time of the day (keep in mind
that it may be located in a different
time zone)
• The station has too many people
tuned in and experiences server
congestion
• The maximum number of listeners
tuned in has been reached
• The URL is out of date; however, it
is updated daily so you should be
able to receive the station the next
time you tune in
• Make sure that your PC is
connected to the same network
as your receiver via WiFi or
Ethernet
• Check if a DHCP server is
available or if you have
configured a fixed IP address
on your receiver
• Make sure that your firewall
does not block any of the
output ports. Your receiver
needs to have access to at
least UDP and TCP ports 80,
443 and 8008 as well as DNS
port 53.
Determine the MAC address via
Configuration > Information >
Netzwerk > WiFi Mac and add it
to the allowed equipment list of
your router (AP).
Note: The receiver has separate
MAC addresses for LAN and
WiFi networks
• Check the distance between
receiver and WiFi router and
check if a computer
successfully establishes an
Internet connection from this
distance.
• If not, move the router closer to
the router.
Change the encryption method to
WEP, WPA or WPA2.
Windows Media Player: Varies.
Non-Microsoft firewalls may
require configuration for UPnP.
• Reset settings to default and
extend the antenna
• Move the receiver closer to a
window
