Network setup

The internet connection required for some operating modes can be established via LAN or WiFi. Your
receiver requires a broadband connection through wired Ethernet (LAN) or WiFi. The easiest way is to use a
CAT 5 or CAT 6 cable to connect the tuner through wired Ethernet to a WiFi router (AP) which is connected
to an ADSL modem or cable modem provided by your ISP.
Wired Ethernet (LAN)
For a wired Ethernet connection to a router with DHCP enabled, the network configuration is automatically
done and the tuner can be used for Internet radio and UPnP sharing without user interaction.
Wireless LAN (WiFi)
For the initial connection with a WiFi network, the display indicates the network wizard which guides you
through the configuration procedure. Select Yes to begin with the configuration. To do so, press Back to
select Yes and confirm with TUNE/SELECT.
Now select Add/Remove AP from the menu and use TUNE/SELECT to select Add AP (rotate to scroll and
press to confirm).
The receiver now scans for routers. Select your network and confirm with OK. If your network is protected
with a password, you now have to enter the password. The network password is case sensitive.
When the connection has been successfully established, the reception quality is shown at the top left in the
display. The number of bars shown increases in accordance with connection quality.
