Safety instructions
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its customer service or a similarly qualified
person to avoid any danger.
• Ensure that the appliance is switched off before replacing the
oven lamp to avoid the possibility of electric shock.
• Keep children under 8 years of age away from the appliance
unless they have been thoroughly instructed.
• This appliance can only be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concer-
ning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by child-
ren without supervision.
• The appliance and accessible parts become hot during
operation. Be careful not to touch any heating elements.
Protect yourself with oven gloves or oven cloth if necessary.
• Some parts of the unit may retain heat for a long time.
Before touching parts that are directly exposed to the heat,
allow the appliance to cool down.
• Steam jet cleaners must not be used because of the danger
of short circuits.
• If you do not use the appliance for a long period of time,
disconnect it from the power supply.

• The appliance must be installed and put into operation by an
authorised technician. The manufacturer is not responsible
for damage that could be caused by incorrect installation
and by the installation of non-authorized personnel.
• A means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed
wiring in accordance with the wiring specifications.
• This appliance is intended for installation in a built-in
cabinet. It is to be used exclusively for the preparation of
normal household meals and is not suitable for unattended
operation.
• Do not use silicone molds, mats, covers or accessories that
contain silicone. This may damage the oven sensor.
• The oven door should not be opened often during the
cooking period.
• When the oven door is open do not leave anything on it.
You may unbalance your appliance or break the door.
• Do not place aluminium foil, baking trays, pans or pots on
the bottom of the oven. During operation, the floor can be
damaged by the resulting heat accumulation.
• Fruit juices dripping from the baking tray can leave stains on
the enamel that may not be removable. To avoid this, insert
a baking tray at the bottom.
• Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to
clean the glass of the oven. This can scratch the surface and
may result in permanent damage to the glass.
Note
When the oven is switched on for the first time, it may give off
an unpleasant smell. This is due to bonding agents used for the
insulating panels within the oven and is completely normal.
If this is the case, wait until the smell has disappeared when the
appliance is switched on or off, then you can use the appliance
for heating food.
