Data Exchange Protocols

This controller can manage two different serial communication
protocols (1 or 2) on its RS-232 port. During the first communication
frame after power on, the controller automatically recognizes the
type of protocol used by the host to which it will interface.
The identified protocol is kept active until the controller is powered off.
